A couple years ago, we played a game on Twitter called #BaptistMonsters, coming up with ideas for the "monsters" in the church we see around Halloween! Well, we've dug up our entries and added a few more new ones! Enjoy: Count Tract-ula: Person who gives out Bible tracts instead of candy to kids on Halloween.
The If-I-Were-Your Mummy: Woman who makes it her business to keep Halloween kids from having too much fun. Crack-O-Lantern: Empty-headed church moms too worried about people handing out drugs to their kids instead of candy, because that happens all the time according to Facebook. The You-Can't-Wear Wolf: Church greeter who turns away kids dressed as demons and monsters from the Fall Festival. The Ghost-or: Pastor who takes his children trick or treating, but makes sure they are all dressed in costumes that completely cover their faces so no one knows they were ever out there. Anti-Zombie Zombies: Christians who blindly protest Halloween because they think it's just what Christians have to do. Crank-enstine: Old folks who assume that all fun is sinful, no matter the night. Have any more ideas for Christian Halloween Monsters? Leave them in the comments below!
