Back Row Online is striving to be your source of humor and inspiration everywhere that you are with our own unique brand on content. Of course, we got our start on Twitter with @BackRowBeliever and @BackRowOnline, we've jumped on the Facebook bandwagon, skipped Google+ for now, because, well, yuck, and then joined YouTube with a bang and a bunch of original videos.
But we know that this still wasn't enough for you. You have plenty of us on your laptop, you need more of us in your pocket!
So, we relaunched our Instagram a few weeks ago (and it's going great!) and now, we're breaching unknown territory: Vine! The home of the 7-second video is our latest venture, where we hope to bring you tiny, square-shaped laughs throughout the week!
We joined two days ago, so check out our first two videos:
Last week, we put the spotlight on "Bad Puppet Ministry" starring Brody the Puppet, and then asked you what we should do with our beloved felt friend moving forward.
Our YouTube channel is in a state of flux as we are trying to figure out what of the many shows we've brought you, you all enjoy the most, and we put Brody up for the vote first, to find out if you wanted us to keep him around, and if so, how often and what kind of videos do you want to see him doing!
Here are the results:

Ahhh, job hunting. Everyone’s favorite task.
As a recent college graduate, I now have the pleasure of looking for a job. I’ve been out of school for about a month, and I still really haven’t found anything.
See, I’m trying to find a job in my field (also known as “communications”), preferably one in radio or web design. In Erie. The problem is, finding a job like that is pretty darn difficult. Like, almost impossible. When I do find any jobs like that, I usually don’t qualify (you know, the whole “one to two years of experience” caveat).
Before you take this poll, we encourage you to at least skim our Behind-the-Scenes of "Bad Puppet Ministry" story to get a glimpse of the kind of shows Brody has done and learn more about him.
Our YouTube channel, Back Row Videos, is in a bit of a state of flux as we are trying to figure out just what shows we want to move forward with and which ones we want to leave behind.
One character in particular that is up in the air is Back Row Brody, our puppet from "Bad Puppet Ministry". There have been several types of shows under the B.P.M. umbrella. The main four are:
We want to know what you think of Brody and which kind of shows, if any, you want to see more of in the future! Vote below:
In early 2014, when the Back Row Videos YouTube Channel was barely starting out, Matt Coker decided that just having song parodies wasn’t going to produce enough content for the channel, since they usually take at least a month to flesh out.
So, he began mulling over areas of church culture that he could parody as well, and a friend on Twitter gave him the idea for videos of a Puppet Ministry character doing non-Puppet-Ministry things. Being strapped for cash, Matt actually held a small fundraising effort to purchase this puppet on his Twitter account, @BackRowBeliever. The effort was fully funded in just a few hours.
A few days of shipping later and “Back Row Brody” was born!
Matt swapped out a green plaid shirt that came with the puppet for one that winked at the only other video on the channel so far, the Back Row Special Music parody of “The Fox” called “What Did the Pastor Say?”
To begin with, Brody’s main video style was a purposefully terrible interview format, where he attempts to interview key characters from church life. Specifically, the first two videos have him attempting to interview a Worship Leader and the baby who always cries in church.
